Lake Eau Claire Clear Water Mini Triathlon & Fundraiser

2.5 mile walk/run                    1 mile paddle                      8 mile bike ride

Join us at beautiful Lake Eau Claire for this family fun event to raise money for water quality improvement.  Lake Eau Claire is located just north of Augusta, WI in the heart of Amish country, and is home to year round activities for those that love the outdoors. The triathlon follows the shores of Lake Eau Claire and is a non-timed event. Entry fee includes a barbequed chicken dinner, beverages, great music by  “BONA FIDE”, and entry for raffle drawings. The first 100 people to register will also receive an event t-shirt
(size not guaranteed).

Start Location:    Hide Away Bar Pavilion, 2:30 PM Triathlon Start

Divisions:           •Kids under 12 must be entered as a team with an                                individualover 18 years of age and bothentrants                                must compete thewalk/run, paddle, and bike                                together for safety.
                           •Participants 12 years and older may enter as                                individualsor as a team of two only.
                           •Men's and women's singles, men's team,                                women's team, mixed pairs

Pre-Registration: •Friday, June 6, 2008
                           •Checks payable to Lake Eau Claire Association
                           •Kids under 12 pay $15 (adult partner pays $25)
                           •Over 12 years of age pay $25 per individual

Event Day Registration:  June 14, 2008
                                   Hide Away Bar and Pavilion
                                   1:00pm-2:15pm

                                  •Kids under 12 years old - $20
                                         (adult partner pays $30)    
                                  •Individuals over 12 years of age - $30

Additional Information:  County Park daily permits will need to be purchased by individuals parking at the Eau Claire County Beach staging area. 

Equipment will not be provided. Participants may paddle canoes or kayaks, life jackets are required. The course will be marked and patrolled and rules of the road are to be followed while biking and walk
